Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan will star for the very first time alongside each other in Rahul Dholakia’s Raees. While Mahira had stated in an interview last year that she had been in awe of Shah Rukh Khan when she had come across him and was doing everything to soak up the acting prowess from the iconic Bollywood actor, it seems that she’s not the only one doing the learning. According to SRK, he’s also learning from ‘fine actors’ such as Mahira and Nawazduddin Siddiqui.
“I think we have a great set of actors. The film is a little more on the real zone. Rahul Dholakia is directing it,” he said while talking about the film. “There is Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. We have really fine actors. I am really impressed by the quality of actors we have in the film and hopefully they will help me improve my performance, he added.
Shah Rukh Khan said he would look towards other projects and start shooting for them when he finishes Raees.
“I’ll tell you when I will do the other film. Yes, I am talking to Aanand, Imtiaz and five other directors… I start new films in June or July after I finish last bits of Raees,” said Shah Rukh.
Mahira Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees is expected to be released by Eid this year.
