PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Sunday directed the concerned authorities to acquire land for state-of-the-art Hangu University.

Presiding over a meeting, CM Mahmood Khan directed to make a comprehensive plan for Hangu University to promote education in the province.

The chief minister, in another meeting, directed to  provide better health care facilities to the patients at public hospitals across KP.

Mahmood Khan directed to ensure provision of modern health facilities in all hospitals of the province.

Earlier, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) had inaugurated a special enrollment campaign to enhance literacy ratio in the province on April 8., Radio Pakistan reported.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan had launched the campaign in Khyber district on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood had said the government was committed for the promotion of quality education across the country.
