Major General Bilal Akbar named new DG Rangers Sindh

KARACHI: Major General Bilal Akbar was named on Saturday as new director general Rangers Sindh, ARY News reported.

Major Akbar will replace incumbent Major General Rizwan Akhtar as DG Rangers Sindh in August. According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Major Akhtar’s term is ending in August.

DG Rangers-designate Major General Bilal Akbar will take over his responsibilities next month. Major Akbar is currently serving as General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lahore.

The ISPR commended the efforts of outgoing Major Akhtar as DG Rangers and stated that he served the post in befitting manner.
