ISLAMABAD: Major General (retd) Zaheer Ahmed has been appointed as chairman Pakistan Steel Mills, ARY News reported Thursday.
The decision in this regard was approved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Several officials were contenders for the vital post for PSM chairman. A selection committee comprising foreign officials and members of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s committee shortlisted the name of Maj. Gen (retd) Zaheer Ahmed which was duly approved by the prime minister.
