Malaysia Airlines flight crashes into sea, 239 feared killed
KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysia Airlines Beijing bound flight MH-370 has crashed into sea near Tho-Chu island of Vietnam, ARY News reports.
All 239 people on board including crew members are feared dead.
Earlier, the Malaysia Airlines aircraft had lost contact with the control tower over the South China Sea after two hours into its flight which made the Chinese officials to send its ships in search of the wreckage of the aircraft.
Out of the 229 passengers, 160 people were Chinese citizens whereas four passengers were from the United States of America.
A Vietnamese ship confirmed the crash of the aircraft. Vietnamese officials have stated that the Malaysia Airlines plane crashed near Tho Chu island of Vietnam.
The search for the bodies and the debris of the aircraft is underway.
