In a telephonic conversation between the two leaders, Rehman Malik said that negotiations should be held to end the confrontation of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with the government. He expressed concerns that delaying the negotiations process will lead to further problems.
“PAT and PTI leaders Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and Imran Khan are being given threats. The security of the two leaders should be stepped up”, Malik said.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that federal government will express flexibility and hold talks within the constitution and law.
