GUJRANWALA: A man named Shoaib tried to rape a six year old girl but failed when the residents of the area came to the child's rescue here in Gujranwala on Saturday, ARY News reports.
According to ARY News, the incident occurred at Madina Colony area of the city where Shoaib lured hard working Tariq's daughter Ayesha to a deserted place and attempted to rape her. However, the residents of the area caught Shoaib and handed him over to the Police.
A case has been filed against the rapist whereas the child was shifted to Civil Hospital for a medical checkup.
