A man while angling on a riverbank in China made a unique catch that stunned onlookers.
In the footage a strikingly unusual fish with a bulbous pigeon-shaped head is seen lying on the floor gasping for air. Gobsmacked witnesses took pictures and shot videos of the never-before-seen fish with their phones.
The video was shot on June 5 in Guiyang City of China’s Guizhou Province.
The fish is believed to be a mutant of grass carp, a common freshwater species.
The man who caught the fish has reportedly released it back into the wild shortly afterwards.
The animal is far different from the unusual find made in China lately. 30 new deep sea creatures were recently discovered by using an underwater drone.
