KARACHI: A man reportedly committed suicide after shooting himself inside a real-estate agency in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in Karachi, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ali. His brother said that he was present when the incident took place inside the agency located in Block 15 of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
He said that his brother had outstanding debts of Rs1.4 million and had committed suicide.
Police officials said that Ali has a gunshot wound on his chest, and a licensed 30-bore pistol was also recovered from the scene.
However, SSP Gulshan expressed dissatisfaction over the statement of the deceased’s brother and have started further investigation and are gathering evidence over the incident.
