Impersonator posing as intelligence officer nabbed in Karachi

KARACHI: An impersonator, who was posing as an officer of an intelligence agency, and his body guard were arrested by the law enforcement agencies from Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, ARY News reported on Saturday.

According to the details, law enforcement agents took Khan Asim Mir and his bodyguard into their custody following a raid at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block-4 area. The law law enforcement personnel also recovered weapons from his possession.

The arrested man was shifted to unknown location for questioning.

Sources said that Mir is the chairman of a paper organization by the name of “Pakistan Peace Movement”.

He used to roam around with his security guard wearing fake police and rangers uniforms.
