According to details, a video sighting Dr Shoaib of Mansehra government hospital abusing female patients had emerged nearly a month ago.
Following the surfacing of video scandal, Mansehra people had taken to streets protesting strongly against the doctor.
After the news flashed on media, Dr Shoaib was arrested but later released on interim bail.
The alleged molester today tried to shoot himself in the head, but the bullet accidentally hit in the chest. He was shifted to hospital in critical condition.
Doctors have removed the bullet from his body and trying to save his life, medico-legal sources said.
