Mansha to submit reply in contempt case by Dec. 20

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notices to the Chairman Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) and others to file their reply in the court pertaining to the contempt petition filed against them for not complying with the court orders – ARY News reports.

 

According to details, Justice Nazar Akber of the SHC heard the contempt case on Friday.

 

The SHC had earlier issued contempt notices to the current Chairman and former president MCB Mian Mansha, former president Atif Bajwa along with former CEO PTCL Naseem S Mirza and chief executive of Ibrahim Fiber Limited, Naeem Mukhtar and they were all directed to appear before the court and file their answer regarding the contempt petition filed against them.

 

The petitioner today stated before the court that all the parties in the case have been provided with the copies of the petition; however none of them has yet submitted the reply in the court.

 

At this, the SHC granted a time limit up to December 20th to the counsel of Mian Mansha to submit his answer in the court.
