Mardan varsity: Another video of violent mob looking for Mashal Khan surfaces

PESHAWAR: One more video of a violent mob at Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan has been surfaced, in which the mob is looking for Mashal Khan after thrashing his friend Abdullah outside the committee room of the varsity, ARY News reported.

The video was recorded prior to the coldblooded murder of 23-year-old Journalism student, Mashal Khan.

It could be seen in the video that after lashing his friend outside the committee room, a man is giving instructions to the angry mob to kill Mashal Khan wherever they find him.

While a voice could be heard saying that Mashal would be in the hostel room as he has not left the varsity premises.

According to ARY News reporter Shazia Nisar, the university administration had constituted a committee a day before the lynching incident upon learning that a group of students planning to attack him, hence the administration had called Mashal Khan and his two friends, Abdullah and Zubair, to the committee room to discuss the issue.

The video is recorded outside the committee room where Abdullah reached to appear before the committee when he was severely beaten by the enraged mob.

After thrashing him, the man in the video instructs the mob to look for Mashal Khan and kill him even if they find him in a mosque and also apprise people the motive behind it.

Upon which, a voice heard telling the mob that Mashal Khan could be in the hostel room. And with it, the mob starts marching towards the hostel room.

The police personnel could also be seen in the video standing inattentive without caring about the murderous intentions of the angry mob.
