'Marsoon Marsoon, Sindh Na Daisoon', responds Bilawal to Altaf
KARACHI: Patron in Chief of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while responding to the statement of the MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, has said that we shall prefer to die, rather than giving away Sindh – ARY News reports.
According to details, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while responding to the demand of a separate province for Urdu-speaking Sindhis by Altaf Hussain, said in a social media message that we shall prefer to die, but won't give away the province of Sindh.
Bilawal tweeted in Sindhi language, "Marsoon Marsoon, Sindh Na Daisoon".
The words hold a vital historical significance, for a General of the Army of Talpur rulers of Khairpur state, Hoshu Sheedi had uttered these words while leading a battle against the British.
