LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, has declared the net worth of her assets at Rs845 million in the statement of assets she filed with her nomination papers for the July 25 elections.

Maryam owns more than 1506 kannals of agricultural land and shares in multiple companies, according to the assets statement.

She has shares in Chaudhry Sugar Mills, Hudaibiya Paper Mills, Hudaibiya Engineering, and Hamza Spinning Mills.

The former first daughter invested an amount of over Rs3.4 million in an under-construction floor mill. She has lent out Rs7 million to a firm namely Soft Energy Private Limited.

Besides, Maryam received gifts worth over Rs40 million and owns gold jewellery whose value she has declared at Rs1.7 million.

She owed her brother Hussain Nawaz Rs28.9 million and that she had never received a loan amounting more Rs2 million from any private bank.

She spent Rs6.4 million on her foreign visits over the past three years.
