He was addressing a press conference in Lahore yesterday. He asked ulemas to enlighten government on women’s protection bill with their input.
Sanaullah said seven amendments from the government and one from Jamaat-e-Islami were considered to be made in women’s protection bill.
Decision has been made to amend the law, he added.
One provision of the bill states that a man torturing woman will be made to wear a bangle.
