Popular television and film actress Mawra Hocane was in London to get her LLB degree from University of London, pictures posted on her official Instagram page show.
The actress attended the convocation ceremony in London’s Barbican Center where she received her Bachelor of Laws degree.
“A few moments in life are just so intense & profound that in that very moment one doesn’t know what to do with it . I truly didn’t think I would ever graduate alongside my career but today while I walked on that stage all I felt was gratitude, so much gratitude for living this life, for having the best of all worlds, for all the love & prayers all of you say for me, for all the faith my faculty has always shown in me! I’m just so so THANKFUL! #Alhumdulillah,” Mawra wrote while posting a picture in which she can be seen moving towards the podium to get her degree.
The “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2” actress later also posted a picture with her parents thanking them for their love and support.
“These two humans looking at me with the shining light in their eyes on my graduation day trumps all the joys & emotions I have ever felt in my entire life. #Alhumdulillah 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m lucky to have you by my side, I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to do you two proud!” Mawra wrote with the picture.
The actress got herself enrolled in the University of London’s LLB programme in the year 2014 but after being offered the lead role in Bollywood movie “Sanam Teri Kasam”, she reportedly took a break from but then finished her studies later on.
