‘He is the one who saw a dream’: Maya Ali’s note is a beautiful tribute to Imran Khan

Well, every Pakistani lauds Imran Khan for his efforts for cancer patients and the way the hospital founded by him is serving those fighting cancer.

Recently, after a fundraising event in Dubai, actress Maya Ali, posted a selfie with the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital founder and wrote a heartfelt note to pay tribute to Imran Khan for his efforts.

“He’s the one who saw a dream, he’s the one who has believed in himself, he’s the one who wanted to do something not for him but for everyone else and he’s the an who fulfilled his dream, who did what he said he would and showed everyone that if your intentions are true, ALLAH will make the way himself… and we have already witnessed his dream, I am associated with Shaukat Khanum for the last 2 years and it was my privilege to be there with him for this great cause… let’s do it everyone and join hands with him to cure thousands of cancer patients… Thank you Sir Imran Khan,” wrote Maya Ali while posting the selfie.

 

A number of celebrities including Maya Ali, Fakhr-e-Alam and Mahira Khan attended the January 19 fundraising event for the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Dubai.

The event was a success as Imran Khan claimed that they collected 900, 000 US dollars only in cash for cancer patients while people pledged to pay almost 1 million US dollars within a year.

The hospital is a project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, a non-profit legal entity established under the laws of Pakistan and named after Imran Khan’s mother.

The Board of Governors formulates overall policy and consists of bankers, researchers, businessmen and physicians. The hospital is managed by a professional team from clinical, administrative and nursing backgrounds. Imran Khan also serves as the chairman board.
