SUJAWAL: The deaths by measles outbreak continued in Sindh as two more children died by the disease near Sujawal in lower Sindh, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Two children, five-year old Samar and eight month’s infant Mah Noor suffering from measles died in Dor area near Sujawal.
The measles outbreak in the country continues this year with several deaths reported in the disease.
Sindh High Court had recently took suo moto notice of the death of children in Thatta and Sujawal due to measles and called report from the health authorities of the province.
Provincial health department has also recently launched a measles immunization campaign in which according to officials 11.9 mln children were vaccinated in Sindh.
