Medical board clears Musharraf's blood tests

ISLAMABAD: Medical board has cleared the blood tests of the former President and Army Chief of Pakistan General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf here on Sunday, ARY News reports from Islamabad.

An ECG and blood samples was collected to monitor the cholesterol level of the former President.

Lawyer of Pervez Musharraf Ahmad Raza Kasuri, while speaking to media today, said that his client is ill and cannot appear in the hearing of the treason case tomorrow. He added that efforts are being made to present the advice of the doctors in shape of a report tomorrow in the court.

He further said that he will verbally request the special tribunal to grant immunity to Musharraf if the medical reports are not received.

Ahmed Raza Kasuri further said that the decision of Musharraf going abroad for treatment or not will be taken after the medical report is received.
