Mega Scandals: NAB submits modified report to SC

In the new report two additional columns have been included with regard to the dates of when the application against an individual was filed and when it was verified by the officials concern.

The apex court will hear the case on July 15.

The NAB officials on July 7, had submitted a list of the cases to the court that includes cases against high profile figures, including incumbent Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, four former prime ministers, former president, ministers and top bureaucrats.

The report included 150 mega corruption cases of trillions of rupees about misues of powers, financial scams and scandalous land deals by the high ups in corridors of powers.

The court, however, had expressed dissatisfaction over the report and had asked NAB to include two additional columns in the report for further details.

A three-member bench, headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, was hearing a case pertains to scrutiny of the anti-corruption body.
