DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Mehsud faction of Taliban split away from the umbrella group of militants Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ARY News reported on Wednesday.
In a talk with mediapersons at an undisclosed place, spokesman of the Mehsud Taliban, Azam Tariq announced that the Mehsud group led by Khalid Mehsud had decided separation from the TTP after thorough consideration.
He said that extortion and burglaries were being carried out under the current system of the TTP. He alleged that the current system of TTP is being run by the conspirators.
He vowed that the Mehsud faction of Taliban will do anything to stop wrong doing.
