Memon holds K-Electric, Ministry of Water Power responsible for Karachi casualties
In a statement issued, Sharjeel Memon said that K-Electric’s poor performance caused mass casualties in Karachi and cases will be lodged against both the institutions in its wake.
He slammed 20-hours load shedding in rural Sindh and termed it anti-people.
“Even today, three directors of the K-Electric are from federation, while the center holds 26 percent shares of the power distribution company,” Memon stated.
This is the reason the federation can’t separate itself from this situation, the minister explained.
