The provincial minister while addressing a high level meeting in his office said that all amenity plots will be recovered and the illegal establishments on the government land especially marriage halls will be razed to the ground.
He clarified that all such marriage hall owners are given 24 hours to voluntarily bring their illegal constructed halls down otherwise they will not only have to face legal action but the equipment present at the hall will be taken into custody besides bringing down the establishment.
Memon claimed that dozens of such marriage halls were razed to the ground in District Central, East and Korangi while many such establishments are still standing upon which administrators of relevant District Municipal Corporations are issued instructions.
While repeating his government’s resolve to make Sindh a green and peaceful province, Memon said that all encroachments shall be removed adding that the operation will be across the board.
