Mercury drops after snowfall in Quetta

QUETTA: Intermittent rainfall in Quetta, the capital of southwestern province of Balochistan, dropped mercury in the city, ARY News reported on Saturday. 

The city also received first snowfall of the season in the wee hours of Saturday. 

Snowfall also reported in Qalat, Mastung and other areas of upper Balochistan restricting people to their homes. 

Temperature has dropped in Karachi and other cities and towns of Sindh and Balochistan after snowfall in Quetta, the met department said. This morning minimum temperature in Karachi was dropped to nine degree centigrade, weather department sources further said.
