The meeting was held to review progress on the implementation of National Action Plan on counter terrorism in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the prime minister said government would not ease till the elimination of all terrorists from the country.

“There is no room for terrorists in our society and all necessary steps are being taken to eliminate them from Pakistani soil,” he said.

The PM was also briefed on legislative and administrative measures as well as the progress on sub-committees regarding implementation of the National Action Plan.

Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan; Special Advisor Barrister Zafarullah,  Political Secretary to the prime minister, Dr. Asif Kirmani along with other senior officials attended the meeting.
