QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif vowed that Pakistan Army will provide all possible assistance to enhance capability of Balochistan’s Police, ARY News reported.
COAS Raheel Sharif visited Combat Training Area in Quetta Cantt on Thursday, where Personnel specialised anti-terrorism training is being imparted to personnel of Balochistan Police and Balochistan Constabulary trained by Pakistan Army's Southern Command.
On the occasion he said that three more courses will be run for police and Balochistan Constabulary by Pakistan Army this year.
Army Chief appreciated the standard of training and trainees’ enthusiasm and expressed hope that these trained personnel will play significant role in countering the menace of terrorism in the Province while under training personnel displayed demonstrations.
Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasser Khan Janjua and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
