Speaking to media at a Karachi varsity, the minister said that time is required for complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
He appealed the nation to not get scared of terrorist attacks taking place in the country and said that the spirit of the nation is high.
Iqbal said that operations will continue till elimination of terrorism from the country.
The planning and development minister, criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, stated that the country does not require political anarchy. He said that party chief should wait till the 2018 general elections and form a “Naya Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” .
“Imran Khan did not accept the names of election commission members,” Iqbal said.
Ahsan Iqbal went on to say that the federal government has a “good working relationship” with Sindh chief minister-designate Murad Ali Shah. He also said that the Sindh’s finance minister had fully cooperated with the centre on many development projects such as China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Thar Coal Project.
