Imran must made it to the parliament and take part in legislation against horse-trading in Senate polls, he said during a media talk here.
The minister said country needs to be purged of this long-running problem. The new constitutional amendment for voting in Senate through ‘show of hands’ will benefit Imran the most, he added.
He claimed that the PML-N government was first to try banning floor-crossing during its government back in 1997.
He was of the view that horse-trading complaints were mostly received from the KP. Rasheed informed that senior PML-N leader Ishaq Dar was tasked with contacting Imran and hold talks on the matter.
PML-N government is strictly against horse trading, he mentioned.
He hoped that no protest will be staged in 2015.
