The low intensity tremors jolted Nawabshah and surrounding areas after midnight on Wednesday forcing the residents to come out of their homes.
No loss of life and property was reported while 12 mental stress patients mostly women and childrem were brought to the hospital after the quake.
On the other hand, Deputy commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah) Tahir Hussain Sangi told media that emergency has been declared in Peoples Medical University Hospital Nawabshah while the district administration has established a complaint cell where citizens can inform about loss of life and property.
The epicenter of the quake and the actual magnitude cannot be ascertained.
