Misbah aims to defend Asia Cup title
LAHORE: Captain Pakistan Cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq said his team will try its best to defend the Asia Cup title, which is scheduled to start from Feb 25, ARY News reported on Friday.
Speaking to media in the Qadaffi Stadium, Misbah said no team was pushover in the Asia Cup, adding confidence of players was also high for the upcoming tournament.
All the teams are favourite in the Asia Cup and especially Bangladesh will be dangerous in its home condition, said Misbah.
Pakistan skipper said the combination of players was well set. To a question, he said he will continue playing until he is fit.
The team will fly Bangladesh tonight (Friday night). Pakistan will play Sri Lanka in the opening match on Feb 25 (Tuesday).
