ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a political alliance of religious and far-right parties led by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, on Tuesday announced its election manifesto, ARY News reported.
Reading out the manifesto from a paper during a press conference flanked by other MMA leaders, Fazlur Rehman said education, employment, sports, voluntaryism and measures to build self-confidence in youth, formulation of national policies and youth’s encouragement in their implementation were included in their manifesto.
Other many things included in the manifesto of the party were announced to be, “Announcement of revolutionary schemes for employment and education of women in the light of the Islamic traditions and constitution of Pakistan, eradication of exploitation of women and inequality in the society, implementation of clear orders of Quran and Sunnah and eradication of interest (sood) in shortest possible time.
“Encouragement of participation of Pakistani expatriates in development of Pakistan, protection of assets of the country, full encouragement of investment in the country, full protection of minorities’ life, properties and worshipping places and complete assurance of education and other civil rights.”
