ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hoped improvement in bilateral relations with Pakistan, ARY News reported on Friday.

Prime Minister Modi, in his reply to a letter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said he was honoured by Prime Minsiter Sharif’s participation in his oath taking ceremony.

He said the relations between India and Pakistan defined by peace, friendship and cooperation would unleash enormous opportunities for a more prosperous future for people and accelerate progress across the region.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had written to his Indian counterpart Modi that he was looking forward to work with him in harmony to resolve all unsettled issues.
