ISLAMABAD: Upcoming Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has invited Pakistani Premier Nawaz Sharif to his oath taking ceremony in New Delhi on 26th May, ARY News reports.
According to sources, Narendra Modi has invited all the Prime Ministers of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries along with Nawaz Sharif to attend the ceremony.
However, it remains to be seen whether Sharif will tour the neighboring country on the occasion or not.
Narendra Modi of the right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won the Indian elections 2014 by a landslide margin.
Nawaz Sharif had congratulated Modi for winning the elections and had invited him to Pakistan.
