Narendra Modi, while talking to Japanese media, said that he is ready to hold talks with its neighbouring state according to Simla Agreement and Lahore Declaration.
He also said that Pakistan did not give a positive reply to the peace efforts. He further claimed that Pakistan damaged India’s efforts for peaceful relations between the two states by meeting Kashmiri leaders.
“It is important that the atmosphere should be independent and violence-free for having meaningful dialogue”, Modi said.
