Singer and actor Mohsin Abbas Haider on Wednesday thanked all his fellow media personalities and fans for their messages of support after he revealed his battle with depression on social media.

Haider on Tuesday revealed his battle with depression on his Instagram account before quickly deleting the post. The ‘Meri Guriya‘ actor wrote: “Depression is all set to kill me soon. Just wanted to say thanks to the people who caused it.”

The singer-cum-actor today thanked all his fans and fellow celebrities for their messages and revealed that talking about his condition helped him a lot.

“I think talking about it (depression) helped me a lot, I am not that kind of a guy who shares details of his personal life but you do it when you reach a certain point and with the messages I received I can say that it helped me a lot so one should talk about depression,” Haider said in a video on his Instagram account.

It is pertinent to note here that soon after Mohsin Abbas Haider posted about his battle with depression on social media, a number of celebrities commented on the post expressing their love and support for the popular singer and actor. Model Fia Khan, actresses Mansha Pasha, Ayesha Omar and actor Osman Butt were some of the celebrities who expressed love and support for Haider.
