Sources said he could also be indicted by the court in money laundering case.
The MQM chief was given extension in his bail till October 5 in July this year.
He was also briefly detained last year in the same case, sparking rumours over future of the party in Karachi which has ruled the city for two decades.
Meanwhile, the Anti Terrorism Court in Quetta has issued non bailable arrest warrants for the MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Several cases have been registered against Mr. Hussain in Karachi for his ‘threatning’ statements against paramilitary force following Rangers raid at MQM headquarters Nine Zero on March 11, 2015.
