Moody’s says Chinese leader’s tour cancellation have negative impact on Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: International economic rating agency Moody’s has said that Pakistan will face negative economic implications by the cancellation of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s tour of the country, ARY News reports.

Moody’s report states that the cancellation of the tour will affect the aid and economic agreements of the country. It also mentions that political instability will question the economic conditions of the South Asian state.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) program in Pakistan may also be affected by the cancellation of Xi Jinping’s tour of its neighboring country, the report states.

It adds that the country may face financial crisis if it does not receive further loans.
