RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said mostly Muslims were the victims of terrorism in the world, ARY News reported.

“West considers every bearded man and scarfed woman a terrorist. Terrorism and extremism had no link with Islam,” he said while addressing a public meeting in Rawalpindi.

He said it was a big battle and it was part of his faith to stand for Muslims. Some politicians and parties detested him for he talked about ideology of Islam, he added.

“If you are proud of being secular, I am proud of being a lover of Islam. And I would support every that person against whom false allegations are leveled for being Muslim. Good people are hard to come by. Difference between Halal and Haram and right and wrong has vanished,” he said.
