KARACHI: Following the killing of four party workers, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to observe day of mourning on Friday, ARY News reported.
Four dead bodies of MQM workers were found yesterday from Memon Goth, Malir, who were have been identified as Ali Haider, Samad, Salim Qureshi and Faizan.
MQM spokesman said all of the four deceased party workers were arrested by Police and Rangers from Scheme 33.
Reports of aerial firing in several areas including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Lasbella, Golimar and University Road were received. Meanwhile, shops and petrol pumps started shutting down as the situation turned tense.
MQM has also announced to hold emergency press conference today at its headquarters Nine Zero.
