ISLAMABAD: Workers of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) demonstrated in favor of Gen. Rtd. Pervaiz Musharraf on Wednesday in front of Islamabad Press Club, ARY News reported.
The demonstrators chanted slogans against the trial of Mushrraf. They said Chief of Army can never be a traitor; the trial of Musharraf is nothing but a reprisal.
They denied the claim that Musharraf was brought to Pakistan through Interpol by saying that he came by his own will.
“Initially he was declared ineligible for lifelong then cancelling his bails he was deserted in political cases”, protestors added.
Member of MQM Rabitta Committee Miyan Atique said that Altaf Hussain has firm believe that Gen. Rtd. Pervaiz Musharraf is an honest person and dvised us to expand the campaign of protest in favour of Musharraf.
