MQM appeals Imran to represent Taliban committee

KARACHI: The Rabita Committee (RC) of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement has urged the PTI chief Imran Khan to become a part Taliban committee for peace talks, keeping in view the dire situation of the country, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

In a joint statement, RC members from London and Pakistan recalled that Imran Khan had stated in the past on numerous times that he was ready to hold talks with Taliban.

“Now Taliban have unanimously imposed their confidence in PTI chief but the latter has backed off from becoming a part of their commitee,” said RC members.

They appealed Imran Khan to withdraw his decision and represent Taliban in their proposed committee.
