MQM Balochistan committee member shot dead in Orangi

According to details, the deceased, identified as Ashraf Khan, was a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Balochistan committee.

Unknown assailants riding two motorbikes opened fire at the vehicle of Ashraf Khan, leaving him critically injured. The victim also retaliated and one of the attackers also sustained bullet wounds.

Ashraf, however, succumbed to the injures shortly after the attack. Police also began search for the wounded attacker.

Meanwhile, MQM chief Altaf Hussain has  strongly condemned the killing of their party leader.

He demanded the government, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and other concerned authorities to take notice of the killings of MQM workers and officials in Karachi.
