KARACHI: MQM Rabita (coordination) Committee has expressed concern over arrest of party workers by Rangers, ARY News reported Thursday.
In a statement issued here, MQM leaders said Rangers arrested their party workers late at night from Nazimabad. The arrested workers were Sohail, Wajahat, Adnan Zaidi, Fahad Iftikhar, Khurram and Umar.
They said the MQM worker Muhammad Nadeem, a member of Korangi sector, was also rounded up.
The MQM RC members appealed the governor and chief minister Sindh to ensure immediate release of arrested MQM workers.
They said the nabbed workers had no cases registered against them, hence they should be released forthwith, demanded MQM RC members.
