PTI depicting a situation as if it has a nerve-racking contest with MQM, which is not at all a reality, he told a press conference here.

Politics is the name of reconciliation, tolerance and patience. MQM doesn’t want to respond to diatribe of PTI, he underlined, adding masses must also avoid provocations from PTI.

With such ‘lame’ tactics, PTI wants to boycott NA-246 by-polls, said Rizvi.

He recalled that MQM had bagged victory from NA-246 for seven consecutive times and, “We are going to this seat again with public support,” he maintained.

He appealed the masses to practise calm and not pay heed to any provocations from certain elements.

The MQM leader demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan to ensure implementation of electoral code of conduct.

Faisal Sabzwari also spoke on the occasion.

Earlier talking to ARY News, MQM’s Kanwar Naveed Jameel, who is also an MQM candidate in NA-246 by-election, said PTI was looking for a way-out to avoid defeat.
