MQM delegation calls on Dr. Tahirul Qadri

LAHORE: A delegation of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) today called on Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri in Lahore, ARY News reported Tuesday.

MQM leader Ameenul Haq said Altaf Hussain considered Dr. Qadri as his elder brother. He cited MQM chief as condemning the maltreatment meted out to PAT workers at Lahore airport.

Haq said his party expressed solidarity with those died in the Model Town incident. Condemning the murder of female MNA of his party, he said a judicial inquiry should be held into the murder of MNA Tahira Asif.

Dr. Qadri thanked the MQM delegation for expressing solidarity with his party and injured PAT supporters.

The MQM delegation consisted of Rehan Hashmi, Asif Hasnain, Abdul Haseeb, Iftikhar Randhawa, Irshad Zafeer, Qamar Mansoor and MQM central Punjab president Amir Baloch.
