KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s deputy convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui  demanded heightened security arrangements around party headquarters ‘Nine Zero’,  ARY News reported.

Siddiqui, while demanding the security, cited the reason that MQM is staging a rally in support of Pakistan Army’s operation against terrorists, therefore threat of a terror attack on Nine Zero is all time high.

MQM convener has also written a letter to Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh, Interior secretary, IG Police and DG Rangers demanding stringent security arrangements around Jinnah ground and surrounding areas on July 6th.
