MQM files petition against ANP's Zahid Khan in ECP
ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has filed a petition against Awami National Party's (ANP) Senator Zahid Khan in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) here in Islamabad for not declaring his complete assets, ARY News reports.
The petition was filed by MQM's Malik Zahid Mehmood Saqib. It is stated in the petition that that ANP Senator did not declare his full assets and was dishonest in disclosing the details as well.
It is also said in the petition that the land worth of 36 lacs was not disclosed in the asset details therefore he should be considered ineligible as he violated the Article 62 and 63 of the constitution.
Signatory documents will be provided along with the petition.
