MQM hails SC verdict in Hakim Said murder case

KARACHI: The Rabita (coordination) Committee Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) has hailed the acquittal of MQM workers in Hakim Muhammad Said murder case and termed it a victory of truth and justice, ARY News reported Sunday.

The Supreme Court on Saturday upheld the verdict of Sindh High Court (SHC) rejecting the Sindh government’s appeal regarding acquittal of MQM activists in the murder case of famous philanthropist Hakeem Said.

In a statement, MQM RC members stated MQM activists were falsely charged with Hakim Said murder in 1998 under a conspiracy and several operations were launched against the party in its wake.
