MQM leader Mustafa Kamal resigns from Senate

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaderMustafa Kamal has resigned from his membership of the Senate of Pakistan and his resignation has been presented to the Chairman, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari – ARY News reports.

According to details, MQM member Mustafa Kamal formally resigned from his Senate membership, whereas MQM leaders presented his resignation to the Chairman, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari after today's session of the upper house.

Our correspondent, Rafay Hussain told that Mustafa Kamal has currently been outside the country for private commitments, due to which he was unable to attend various sessions of the house and did not submit the details of his assets.

MQM leaders told that the former city nazim of Karachi has resigned from his Senate membership; however he is still a member of the MQM Raabita Committee.
